This article takes the actual situation encountered in the construction of a subway project in Hefei as an example, and conducts a preliminary discussion on the equipment failure of the shield machine during the construction process. The probability of various failures is recorded, and solutions and preventive measures are proposed for typical failures to ensure the smooth progress of project construction.
