The Application of BIM Technology in Architectural Design

Construction informatization is the future development trend of the construction industry.Through the transmission and sharing of information and data, the development level of the construction industry can be further improved.As an information technology revolution in the construction field,BIM technology serves the life cycle of the entire construction project in the form of a parametric model. It also plays a vital role in shortening the construction period,saving investment costs, and improving production efficiency. For this reason, this article analyzes and discusses the key points of the application of BIM technology in architectural design while fully understanding the principles of BIM technology, combined with specific cases,with a view to improving the level of building informatization in my country.
