  • Slope is a structural form of highway engineering. In the process of mountainous highway engineering construction and later opening to traffic, there are many examples of property losses and casualties caused by slope instability. In order to do a good job in slope protection, retaining walls are widely used. Based on this, on the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of mountain highways, this article expounds the methods and steps of the optimization design of retaining wall protection structure, and based on specific cases, discusses the key points of the optimization design of retaining wall protection structure of mountain highways.
