With the rapid development of my country's social economy, there are many urban buildings, but the high energy consumption of large public buildings is becoming more and more prominent. Relevant statistics show that the annual electricity consumption of large public buildings accounts for about 22% of the country's total electricity
consumption in cities and towns. Therefore, the use of various intelligent and technological means to monitor and manage the energy of large-scale public buildings is of very important guiding value for achieving energy saving and consumption reduction, and improving quality and efficiency. There are abundant types of energy in large public buildings, with the most prominent use of electricity, such as water, electricity, gas, and heat. Based on this, this article focuses on electric energy and studies the application of energy management systems in smart buildings, with a view to promoting the intelligent development of public buildings.
