  • At present, in the overhaul of road surfaces in most provinces in my country, the "white + black" and "white + white" composite pavements mainly use geogrids, glass fiber cloth and other geotextiles for reflection crack prevention and control construction. However, the geotextile and the lower layer are not tightly bonded. Under the rolling action of transportation and paving equipment, the geotextile or grid grid is easily damaged, which seriously affects the integrity of the layers. The impregnated geotextile is made by on-site soaking of a highly permeable impregnating cementitious material. It can be applied to the pavement construction to effectively enhance the interlayer adhesion and improve the anti-reflective cracking ability.Based on this, this article takes the modified emulsified asphalt impregnated geotextile method as the research object, combined with an example of a secondary road reconstruction project, analyzes and discusses the application points of the impregnated geotextile method in the pavement overlay construction, in order to further promote its application range.
