Research on Deformation Mechanism and Failure Mode of Large-area Highfill Embankment on Slope and Weak Foundation

  • Due to the slope of soft foundation, the self weight of embankment and train load will produce vertical and lateral displacement, resulting in embankment deformation or damage. Therefore, based on the large-area slope soft foundation high fill embankment project of dk92 + 993-dk110 + 833 section of Weiyang Yantai Railway,starting with the analysis of slope soft foundation and embankment stress, this paper establishes and analyzes the influence of the characteristics of slope soft layer on the deformation and failure of high fill embankment,and probes into the influence relationship between thickness, elastic modulus and slope, The corresponding deformation control method is given.
