  • With the acceleration of the process of urban modernization, the urban population and buildings increase rapidly,the development and popularization of science and technology make the energy consumption gradually increase, this brings great pressure on resources and environment.The research shows that the passive energy-saving design is applied to the residential building design. It can eff ectively alleviate the consumption of non renewable energy. Based on this, this paper discusses the passive energy-saving design and residential buildings, and studies the application of passive energy-saving design in residential buildings, for reference.
