  • In the highway engineering, the reinforced retaining wall mainly plays the role of bearing the side pressure, and achieves the purpose of stabilizing the rock and soil structure with the friction between the reinforcement band and the filling.The reinforced retaining wall is composed of concrete panels, tendon bands and fillings, which has obvious advantages in the areas with relatively complex terrain, especially in the areas with narrow project space. Because it is difficult to build traditional retaining walls to form the subgrade, the advantages of the reinforced retaining wall are then shown.In addition, the reinforced retaining wall has the advantages of simple construction, fast construction, and can save a lot of engineering construction investment, therefore, it has been comprehensively promoted and applied in the highway engineering construction.In view of this, based on the application advantages and characteristics of reinforced retaining wall structure, the design and concrete application methods, in order to play a reference role for relevant work.
