Application and Practice of BIM Technology in Smart City Construction

BIM Technology plays an important role in the construction of smart city. On the one hand, it provides technical support for the improvement of urban management level, on the other hand, it provides highquality urban services for the social production and life of urban residents. Through BIM technology, smart city construction can realize effective connection between information network and modern society, which is a powerful driving force to promote urban modernization and intelligence. This paper will discuss the conceptual connotation of smart city and BIM technology, the internal relationship between BIM technology and smart city, and the practical strategies to promote the application level of BIM technology, so as to deeply study the application and practice of BIM technology in the construction of smart city.
