  • In long-distance pipe jacking projects, the use of thixotropic mud technology can reduce the jacking force per unit length, which is of great significance for controlling project investment and improving construction efficiency.Based on the case of a pipe jacking in a drainage project in Kunming, this paper studies the mechanism of the thixotropic mud in the pipe jacking project, and compares and analyzes the influence of the thixotropic mud on the jacking force under the optimized process conditions.The conclusion that the pipe top force plays a key role.
