The Application of BIM Technology in the Construction of Prefabricated Building Engineering

With the gradual advancement of my country's sustainable development strategy, the green and environmental protection and energy saving and consumption reduction of the construction industry have also received the focus of relevant staff. The promotion and application of prefabricated buildings is to effectively reduce the traditional construction process. Energy consumption, effective improvement of engineering construction efficiency, and saving of construction costs are characteristics that cannot be replaced by traditional construction methods. Prefabricated building is a new type of construction method. In order to fundamentally improve the efficiency of project construction and ensure the construction quality of prefabricated buildings, BIM technology can also be introduced during the construction process to ensure the design, construction, and operation and maintenance of prefabricated buildings. All are more coordinated,have better results, and achieve the expected comprehensive benefits. Based on this, this article discusses and analyzes the specific application of BIM technology in prefabricated building construction.
