Application of European Standards and Codes in Construction

Taking Algeria East-west Expressway as an example, this paper introduces the European norms, standards and their characteristics commonly used in design and construction, and compares them with the conventional design and construction norms of subgrade, pavement, tunnel and Bridge in China. On this basis, through the communication with the owner and supervision experts, the construction technology was innovated and the technical exchange between the two sides was promoted.
