Research on Improving the Dust Removal Efficiency of Cyclone Dust Collector for Fine Sand

  • Taking the cyclone of the dust removal system in the TX-18 railway track bed sewage suction device as a model, the CFD module of Ansys is selected to simulate the dust removal of the dust in the range of 5~200μm in the cyclone dust collector during the dirt suction process efficient. Through the axial velocity cloud diagram and the radial velocity cloud diagram, the influence of the insertion depth of the exhaust pipe on the dust removal efficiency is studied. Particle tracing is used to analyze the dust particles in the cyclone dust collector, and the movement trajectories of sand dust with different particle sizes are discussed. The results show that when the ratio of the insertion depth of the exhaust pipe to the height of the suction port is 0.8, the dust removal efficiency is better, which can satisfy the gas-solid separation of dust with a particle size of more than 40μm.
