Research on Construction Technology of Asphalt Overlay on Old Cement Concrete Pavement

With the continuous increase in traffic volume, many cement concrete pavements built in the early stage have suffered a lot of structural damages such as settlement and broken slabs. In order to effectively improve the performance of its pavement, the additional asphalt layer plan has been widely used. Based on a comprehensive understanding of the causes of damage to the cement concrete pavement, this article analyzes and explores the key points of the construction technology of the asphalt layer on the old cement concrete pavement in combination with specific cases for reference.
