Calculation and Analysis of Relay Protection Setting in Ethylene Substation

Relay protection is an important part of the power system, it can quickly remove the fault constitutes the first line of defense of the power system, for the safe and stable operation of the power system to provide a strong guarantee, power system puts forward the requirements of reliability, selectivity, sensitivity and quickness for relay protection, reasonable relay protection setting is the key to meet the "four" requirements. Combined with the renovation of 6kV switchgear of ethylene substation, this paper analyzes the relay protection setting calculation of ethylene substation, and ensures the safe and stable operation of the power system.
