Abstract:
As a non-renewable natural resource, land is an important material basis for human survival. How to rationally use land resources is a vital basic work. In land resource management, cadastral measurement is the foundation, which can accurately and effi ciently reflect the land use type, distribution status, and quality level. With the continuous improvement of the level of surveying and mapping technology, a large number of new surveying and mapping instruments continue to emerge. The application of GPS positioning technology can effectively improve the quality of cadastral surveying. Based on a comprehensive grasp of GPS positioning principles, this article explains the application status of GPS surveying and mapping technology, and puts forward some suggestions on the application of GPS in cadastral surveying, in order to improve the scientificity of cadastral surveying and mapping management through GPS positioning technology.
