Abstract: The rapid development of my country's economy has greatly promoted the process of urbanization, but at the same time, the pollution of small and medium-sized rivers has become more and more severe. The current river improvement has received extensive attention. If the river course improvement and management are not in place, it will inevitably lead to extremely serious pollution problems, which will not only pose a threat to people's health, but also hinder the sustainable development of society. Based on this, this article fi rst introduces the status quo of sewage treatment in river improvement, and then analyzes the common problems in river improvement, and finally puts forward practical and feasible treatment measures, hoping to provide references for relevant industry professionals
