Abstract: As a public product, highways have made a positive contribution to social and economic development. While facilitating people's travel, highway maintenance tasks have become heavier and heavier. My country has gradually entered a period of "equal attention to construction and maintenance". How to strengthen road maintenance management has become a hot spot of people's attention. In order to alleviate the contradiction between highway maintenance and social development, it is necessary to actively adopt new concepts, new technologies, and new techniques, and strengthen the level of maintenance and management. Based on this, this article proposes a new type of maintenance management method, namely grid management. Through this maintenance management method, maintenance costs can be greatly reduced, maintenance efficiency can be improved, and the sustainable and healthy development of my country's highway maintenance industry can be promoted.
