Abstract: Over the years, my country's mechanization has achieved certain development results. Various mechanical equipment has been gradually applied in various aspects. It is precisely because of the increasing demand for machinery in the production fi eld that the industry has also proposed more and more mechanical design and manufacturing. The higher the standard, the relevant design manufacturers must pay attention to the application of automation technology in the current mechanical design and manufacturing to improve the overall performance and functions of mechanical equipment. With the modern development of the machinery industry, automation technology has become a key technology in mechanical design and manufacturing. Based on this, this article analyzes the application of automation technology in mechanical design and manufacturing in detail, which is conducive to changing the concepts and ideas of mechanical design and manufacturing.
