Abstract: In recent years, due to the continuous improvement of China's urbanization level, the number of urban high-rise buildings in China has been increasing, however there are many potential problems in high-rise buildings, such as high-rise buildings, large volume and dense population. Therefore, we must pay attention to the cultivation of urban residents' fi re awareness and pay more attention to fi re prevention supervision. This paper discusses the definition, classification and characteristics of urban high-rise buildings, the concrete embodiment of fire in urban high-rise buildings is analyzed, and problems in fire safety, put forward the strategy of improving the fi re prevention supervision and inspection of urban high-rise buildings, for reference.
