Abstract: In the current construction market, new crafts and new technologies are emerging one after another.The application of these new crafts and new technologies provides technical support for construction operations. Technical problems of engineering projects are not uncommon, many of which are caused by failure to do a good job in technical management during the implementation of the project. Therefore, in the modernized development of the industry today, in any scale and type of engineering project, the entire process of technical management should be carried out. Actively apply information technology to it, and realize the informatization of technology management. Based on this, this article analyzes the importance and shortcomings of the application of information technology in technology management, and puts forward an effective application strategy that can effectively play the role of technology management in project implementation.
