Abstract: The preparation of the local standard "Shenzhen Bridge Design Guidelines" is important guiding significance for standardizing the city's urban bridge engineering design and improving the quality of bridge design in order to meet the needs of the construction and development of Shenzhen's urban bridges. Based on this, this article emphatically introduces the background, methods, process, main concepts and results of the compilation of "Shenzhen Bridge Engineering Design Standards",it is expected to which provides important technical reference and compilation experience for the design and development of international urban bridges in my country.
