Abstract: As a national project, highway construction is related to people's travel. At present, my country’s social economy is changing with each passing day. As a key component of highway construction, the quality of highway subgrade will directly affect the overall quality of the project. Therefore, before the formal construction, it is necessary to strictly control the quality of subgrade construction and discover existing problems in time, and apply practically. Properly handle the problem in a feasible way. Based on this, this article discusses in detail the causes of roadbed diseases in highway engineering, analyzes effective treatment methods, and hopes to provide valuable references for relevant people in the industry, so as to contribute to the flourishing and prosperity of my country's highway construction industry
