Abstract: Mechanical design occupies an important position in mechanical engineering. With the rapid development of science and technology, companies must ensure the quality of mechanical design, improve mechanical performance, and provide a solid foundation for mechanical production. Mechanical design and industrial design have their respective focuses, and the two have a very close relationship. Mechanical design can be appropriately integrated into the concepts and design methods of industrial design, so that mechanical products can optimize product ergonomics and styling on the basis of ensuring functions, and improve the company Production effi ciency. This article combines the manufacturing practice of the enterprise, analyzes the focus of mechanical design and industrial design, clarifi es the advantages of the combination of the two, and proposes specifi c application strategies.
