Abstract: Since the reform and opening up, my country's highway construction has made considerable progress and entered a stage of rapid development. As the scale of highway construction continues to expand,more and more highways have to be built in mountainous areas with complex geological and topographical conditions.Compared with other areas,mountain highway route design is more complicated. In order to improve the overall quality of highway design,it is necessary to master the basic characteristics of route design, and at the same time constantly update the design ideas,combine the actual project, and improve the design level.
