Abstract: My country is in a period of rapid development, and the development demand for engineering projects is still high. Strengthening project cost management will have a positive impact on economic development.Project cost is an important part of project construction. The cost control business will directly affect the cost and quality of the project. Therefore, in the development and construction of engineering projects,strengthening cost management is particularly necessary for the entire project management. As a system engineering, project cost is related to all aspects of project construction and is closely related to the construction process. Therefore, the control of project cost is not only the management staff, but also the joint responsibility of all departments of the project. However, there are currently problems in project cost management, so this article will discuss the current problems in project cost and propose countermeasures.
