Abstract: In the context of the rapid development of the urbanization process, it is necessary to pay attention to the design of expressway routes, clarify the design indicators, improve the design specification, understand the design basis of suburban expressways, and consider the social development process and basic transportation construction and economic development on this basis. Need to adjust the original index design, in order to grasp the problems of the new highway layout, based on this article mainly discusses the design indicators of suburban expressways and suburban expressways, in order to provide a reference for the design of expressways.
