Abstract: In the era of information technology, the development and application of digital technology provides a new technical carrier for architectural protection and design. Under the application of digital technology, architectural protection and design are being realized in an interactive, immersive and imaginative way, which is favored by modern people and has become an important direction of the modernization of architectural protection design. Based on digital technology, this paper analyzes the application characteristics and advantages of digital technology in building protection and design, and expounds the application strategy of digital technology in building protection and design from the aspects of building virtual platform and generating digital design function.
