Abstract: With the rapid development of urban economy, urban infrastructure is constantly improving, in which the water supply and drainage plant is an important project in municipal construction. The development of BIM Technology provides a new idea for the current construction of water supply and drainage plant. Combined with the characteristics of municipal water supply and drainage plant project, such as a lot of professional cooperation, variable structure and complex process, BIM Technology plays a unique advantage in the whole process of project construction. In the design stage, it provides solutions of three-dimensional design, professional collaboration and design review for complex water supply and drainage plant project; In the construction stage, BIM based project management platform is applied to realize the control of construction progress, quality and safety; In the operation and maintenance stage, BIM is connected with the intelligent operation and maintenance platform to provide data basis for subsequent data monitoring and daily maintenance. This Article expounds the application advantages of BIM Technology in water supply and drainage plant project, analyzes the technical route of BIM application, and points out the specifi c application of BIM Technology in diff erent stages of water supply and drainage plant project.
