Influence of Manufactured Sand on Concrete Quality

摘要: 甘肃省地处西北干旱地区,境内河流稀少,仅有的泾河、渭河等河流流量较少,河砂的形成条件先天发育不良。随着河砂开采数量的减少,其价格在上涨的同时质量却发生严重下滑,具体表现在含泥量超标、级配不合格等。在经济利益的驱使下,不少地方出现了采用未经水洗的山砂和风化砂冒充当河砂的情况,采用上述不合格砂拌制的混凝土需水量大,现场坍落度损失严重,现场施工配合比无法控制,浇筑的混凝土实体易出现裂缝、色差等病害,甚者强度无法满足设计要求,严重影响了工程质量。

Abstract: Gansu Province is located in the northwest arid area. There are few rivers in Gansu Province. There are only a few rivers such as Jinghe River and Weihe River. With the decrease of river sand mining quantity, the price of river sand is rising while the quality of river sand is declining seriously, which is manifested in the excessive mud content and unqualified gradation. Driven by the economic interests, many places have used mountain sand and weathered sand as river sand. The concrete mixed with unqualified sand needs a lot of water, the slump loss is serious, the mix proportion of construction can not be controlled, and the concrete body is prone to crack, color difference and other diseases, even the strength can not meet the design requirements The project quality is affected.
