Abstract: At present, Chinese transportation system is becoming more and more perfect, and there are more and more expressway projects. At the same time, there are also innovative development in construction and management. Based on the penetration of Internet of Things technology in the transportation construction industry, the state and government are vigorously promoting intelligent expressway, and the expressway construction and maintenance system has become more intelligent and efficient. So that the relevant units of the highway can work together, so that the highway can provide more safe transportation services in a better state, and also extend the service life of the highway. Next, this paper will explain the related content of intelligent highway construction and maintenance technology based on Internet of Things technology, hoping to further promote the innovation and development of Chinese highway.
