Remote Monitoring System of Hoist Based on IoT Technology

  • The traditional hoist adopts contactor type electric control mode, without monitoring and control of the hoist, it is unable to carry out data acquisition and integrated control with other control systems. Based on this, this paper introduces a new type of hoist, and its remote monitoring system is mainly composed of four parts: hoist with multiple groups of sensors, electric control cabinet with MCU as the control core, front and back-end servers and mobile monitoring app. Using sensor technology, network communication technology and building software system, users can query and remote control hoist operation data through the front-end web page. By connecting multiple hoists to the Internet of things, the operation data can be collected and stored at the same time of monitoring and control, and the performance analysis, after-sales optimization, remote maintenance and other functions can be carried out afterwards. The results show that the system can run automatically and complete the detection and control functions. The collected data can be used for statistical analysis to optimize the performance of the hoist.
