Abstract

Abstract

In the 21st century, as an important node in the development of the information age, under the new situation, traditional cost management methods have been unable to meet the needs of social and economic development.In order to avoid frequent project changes and ensure the overall benefits of construction projects, it is of important reality to carry out research on project cost management significance. This article describes the overview and characteristics of BIM technology, and combined with actual cases, analyzes the application of BIM technology in various stages of construction engineering cost management. Through comparative analysis, it obtains good application effects of BIM technology in order to promote the application of BIM technology in engineering cost.
